resilience through remembrance.

Each of us comes from a culture rooted in reverence for the earth, proven through our collective ancestors’ lifestyles, ceremonies, and world views. For many, that divine connection to the land was severed—by force, by choice, by both.

Confronting and mitigating the climate crisis will depend on a great remembering of that connection, and a reestablishment of traditions, practices, and spiritualities we can employ to honor it.

dark peace will examine the relationship between climate change, land stewardship, and cultural identity, as well as the urgent, brave practice of devotion in the face of our ecological crisis.

Together let’s explore the spiritual, existential, sanguine—and even fun—aspects of climate resilience. Thank you for sharing, subscribing, and supporting.
